Chemical peels

A chemical peel solution is applied to the entire face or to specific areas to peel away the skin's top layers. Fine lines and wrinkles and uneven pigmentation may be improved by this treatment. Peel solutions may contain alpha hydroxy acids, tricholoracetic acid (TCA) or phenol as the peeling agent, depending on the depth of peel desired and on other patient selection factors. Recovery time is short and patients can usually return to work within a day.

Botox

Botox is a purified protein that relaxes muscles in the area into which it is injected. Botox injections are one of the most popular cosmetic procedures available. No anaesthesia is required for Botox injections, and downtime is minimal with patients able to return to work on the same day.

Botox for wrinkles and creases

Wrinkles and lines in the face caused by contraction of facial muscles can be softened and smoothed out by Botox injections. Popular areas for injection are forehead wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet (wrinkles around the eyes). Effects are gradually seen over 3-4 days, with maximal effects being seen after 10-14 days. The effects of Botox will gradually fade after 3-6 months.

Botox for facial contouring

Prominent jaw muscles can result a square looking jaw. Botox can be used to reduce the size of the jaw muscles, giving a slimmer facial contour. Effects are typically seen after 2-3 weeks, with maximal effects seen after 3 months, lasting from 6-12 months.

Botox for orbicularis muscle reduction

The orbicularis muscle is a band of muscle surrounding the eyes, In some individuals, it can be enlarged, giving rise to unsightly bulges below the eyes. These bulges can be effectively reduced using Botox injections, resulting in a smoother lower eyelid contour. The lower eyelid bulges due to muscle enlargement should not be confused with eyebags that are due to bulging of fat pads below the eyes. These eyebags cannot be effectively treated by injections and usually require surgical treatment.

Botox for excessive perspiration

Botox can be injected into areas where excessive sweating may occur, such as the hands, feet and underarms, effectively reducing perspiration.

Mesobotox or intradermal botox

Very small doses of Botox are injected superficially into the skin of the face, rather than into the muscles of facial expression beneath the skin. This causes paralysis of small muscles within the skin, and reduction of oil and sweat gland activity. Fine wrinkles, skin pore size and oiliness are reduced, improving and refining the texture of the skin.

Injectable Fillers

Fillers are used to fill up shallow and deep lines on the face caused by ageing or injury. Different types of fillers are available, such as collagen, hyaluronic acid, and autologous fat derived from the patients' own fat deposits. Downtime ranges from minimal to 1 day.
Microdermabrasion.

Laser therapy

Lasers may be used to remove skin lesions such as moles or to flatten and smooth scars. Lasers are also used for removal of tattoos and pigmented lesions, by specifically targeting pigment while leaving the skin intact.

MicroLaserPeel

MicroLaserPeel is a minimal to full epidermal laser peel which precisely removes the outermost layers of the skin. Wrinkles, scars, keratoses, or pigmentation problems can be reduced using this method. It is an ideal procedure for the patient seeking more visible and longer lasting results than microdermabrasion and light chemical peels. The healing period ranges from 2 to 5 days, depending on the depth of Microlaserpeel selected. One procedure can last for several months but additional treatments can be performed more frequently if necessary.

Aurora fotofacial light & RF therapy

Using a combination of intense pulsed light energy and radiofrequency energy, different layers of the skin are treated at the same time, This treatment effectively rejuvenates the skin, safely removing pigmented lesions and fine blood vessels (telangiectasias), improving color and texture. Apart from mild reddening of the skin there is little or no downtime.

Wrinkle reduction & skin tightening

Polaris therapy and eLight are state-of-the-art technology effective in reducing the appearance of wrinkles. The procedure can also be used to treat acne scars, vascular lesions and leg veins. A typical course of therapy involves 5 sessions, repeated every 4 to 6 weeks.

Thermage

Thermage treatment involves delivering radiofrequency (RF) energy to the skin, resulting in tightening of the collagen in the deeper layers of the skin. This effectively smoothes the skin and reduces wrinkles. Over time, new collagen is produced, further enhancing the lifting effect. Results are gradually seen over a 3 to 6 month period and last for several years, although this varies from patient to patient.

Laser hair removal

A combination of radiofrequency and laser energy effectively targets hair follicles without damaging the surrounding skin. Hair of all colors can be safely and effectively removed. For substantial hair reduction, 4 to 6 treatments are usually required.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion uses the principle of exfoliation to remove dead skin and renew your skin. The procedure utilises fine crystals to abrade and exfoliate the outermost layers of the skin to remove superficial pigmentation, blackheads, oil cysts and other blemishes, leaving your skin clearer, softer and smoother.
